Streamline Supplier Deliveries
Unitas Receipt Manager streamlines the receipt of orders and enables users to more effectively manage their supplier deliveries. Orders can be quickly called up and matched against an actual delivery. The system is web based, which enables a distributed delivery point to capture receipt information directly on a central system allowing all details to be viewed remotely at a central office. The goods receiving function allows delivery points to record the condition of goods received, shortages, and any substitute items.
If required, lorry registration, batch/lot control numbers can be recorded at point of receipt. The system also handles products that are priced by alternative measures such as weight, volume or length. Similarly partial or phased order receipts are easily accommodated
Any issues occurring at this stage are reported back to the vendor and, if desired, can be imported into their customer management system – this unique supply-chain information flow helps to quickly resolve issues with supplier deliveries, reducing cost of credit notes and dispute resolution. Similarly it helps facilitate faster and more controlled invoice payments with accounts payable now able to identify and pay for actual goods received and at the agreed amount.
Save Costs
Unitas Receipt Manager reduces the need for paper and added administration associated with handling receipts. Rather than writing receipt discrepancies on delivery dockets and passing them back to a central office for processing, information can be captured online at the delivery point. There is no need for additional manual input and/or order matching as all the required information is already on the system and simply updated at time of receipt.
Improve Efficiency
With a more streamlined receiving process discrepancies in supply are identified much more quickly and any possible disputes resolved speedily. Order matching can be done online at the delivery point and there is no delay due to the need to post/transfer delivery information to centralized offices. Accuracy of receipt information is improved due to the reduced level of manual intervention and the immediate visibility of actual order status/variations.
Reduce Administration
The electronic storage of receipts enables rapid online enquires thus eliminating the need for time consuming filing and retrieval of paper delivery notes. All receipts placed are kept and can be viewed/updated from any authorized user’s desktop. Reports can be produced by supplier, delivery date, order etc.
